EZTalking Teaching Platform Copyright Policy
I. General Policy
The EZTalking teaching platform (the "Platform") is committed to providing a safe, lawful learning environment that respects intellectual property rights. All users, including teachers, students, and visitors, must comply with this Policy and applicable laws when uploading, transmitting, publishing, or using any content on the Platform ("User Content").
II. Ownership of Intellectual Property and Scope of License
1. Original Platform Content
Course designs, teaching materials, teaching videos, voice samples, system prompts, character images, and other content provided on the Platform are owned by EZTalking or its authorized partners unless clearly marked as coming from external sources. They are protected by the Copyright Act of the Republic of China and international copyright treaties. Without authorization, you may not copy, reproduce, redistribute, publicly transmit, adapt, or use them for commercial purposes.
2. User Uploaded Content
Users must ensure that they hold full copyright or have obtained the necessary property-right licenses for all voice recordings, written answers, practice responses, comments, and other materials uploaded to the Platform.
By uploading content, the user is deemed to grant EZTalking a free license to use that content within the following scope:
- For teaching interaction, homework review, and learning diagnostic feedback
- For improving the Platform's AI scoring, speech analysis, and teaching material adaptation functions
- For internal research and service improvement, without publicly disclosing personal data without consent
If you do not agree to the license above, do not upload content to the Platform.
III. Prohibited Conduct
- Uploading unauthorized third-party teaching materials, including but not limited to YouTube videos, scanned textbook pages, illustrations, and audio files
- Capturing, recording, or redistributing Platform content, including AI scoring screens, teaching materials, and tasks, to social platforms, LINE groups, Facebook pages, YouTube channels, publications, or other public or commercial channels
- Attempting to crack, decompile, reverse engineer, or adapt Platform content or teaching engines
Violators may have content removed, account functions restricted, and legal liability pursued.
IV. Copyright Infringement Notice and Handling Process
The Platform provides a copyright infringement reporting mechanism. If you are a lawful copyright owner and discover unauthorized use of your work, please send the following information to sales@ez-ai.com.tw:
- Your proof of identity and contact details
- A description of the copyrighted work and supporting proof, such as teaching material pages or audio samples
- A specific link or screenshot of the allegedly infringing content on the Platform
- Your infringement statement and requested action, such as removal
After receiving complete information, the Platform will conduct an initial review and handling action within seven business days. If a violation is confirmed, the content will be removed and both the uploader and the rights holder will be notified. If the uploader believes the action was incorrect, the uploader may submit a counter-notice with proof of lawful use, and the Platform will review the matter again.
V. Fair Use Principles
The Platform respects the principle of fair use. Content used for education, commentary, research, or teaching demonstration on a non-profit basis may, when proportionate, quote limited portions of copyrighted works. However, users are responsible for proving fair use and citing sources, and may not reproduce or distribute content beyond the fair use scope.
Long-term large-scale reproduction of teaching materials or excessive reliance on a specific work may still be considered unlawful.
VI. Violations and Service Termination
- Account suspension or restriction of account functions
- Deletion or takedown of infringing content
- Suspension or termination of account usage rights
- Claims for damages if the Platform suffers loss
The Platform also reserves the right to proactively monitor and use AI systems to compare teaching material sources and duplication rates in order to protect authorized content from misuse.
